Billing & Reimbursement

Ambulatory Cardiac (AECG) monitoring with the ReelCardio V-Patch is an easy-to-us diagnostic solution to meet your remote cardiac monitoring goals. Wearable AECG monitoring has proven to a far superior monitoring options as it is easily tolerable for most patients, superior ECG signal quality at a lower cost to healthcare providers. The ReelCardio V-Patch simplifies the monitoring processes and expedites the clinical results for clinicians to the final reports.

Not only is the ReelCardio V-Patch simple in operation, the billing process is similar to that of other AECG monitoring technologies. With the ReelCardio V-Patch, clinicians & medical facilities can now bill for virtually all forms of ambulatory cardiac monitoring modalities and qualify to expand billing & reimbursement structures.

93226 – Technical component
93227 – Physician Interpretation

Long Term Continuous ECG (Extended / Long Term Holter) – 93241 / 93245 ($263 – $330/ study)

93242 / 93246 – Patient Hookup (<7 days / > 7 days)
93243 / 93247 – Technical Component

93270 ($60.00) – ECG interpretation once / month
93272 ($75.00) – Device supply once / month 225 / Medicaid

Remote Physiological Monitoring (RPM)  (Medicare only $71 – $120 / month)

99453 ($75.00) – Device enrollment, setup, education
99091 ($60.00) – ECG interpretation once / month
99454 ($75.00) – Device supply once / month 225 / Medicaid

Post Event / Real-Time Symptomatic ECG Monitoring – 93272 ($25/study)

In order to qualify for global reimbursement structures, many guidelines must be met. For example, with Cardiac Event Monitoring or monitoring with real-time Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (MCT) monitoring, the patient must be monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. This is a unique service that is provided by accredited Electrocardiographic staff at ReelCardio.  ReelCardio offers flexible monitoring programs that enable physicians to create hybrid programs to enable greater billing & reimbursement structures to best meet the needs of the medical facility.
